DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The process of displaying official fares on passenger vehicles in Dera Ismail Khan and Tank is continuing as part of an ongoing effort to bring transparency to the public transport system and protect passengers from overcharging. The initiative is aimed at ensuring that commuters are fully aware of approved government fare rates.
According to Secretary RTA Dera, Shaukat Iqbal, the campaign is being strictly implemented across both districts. He stated that no passenger vehicle will be allowed to operate without displaying the official fare chart in a clearly visible manner.
He further emphasized that strict legal action will be taken against any transport operators violating the rules. The administration has urged transport owners to comply with regulations to avoid penalties and support fair practices in the sector.
