KARACHI: Renowned banker and philanthropist Mr. Sultan Ali Allana has been inducted as a Trustee of the SIUT Board of Trust. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Board held in Karachi.
Mr. Allana is widely regarded as one of Pakistan’s most distinguished financial leaders. He currently serves as Chairman of Habib Bank Limited and is a Director of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED), one of the world’s leading development institutions. Over the course of his career, he has made significant contributions to banking, economic development, and philanthropy, both in Pakistan and internationally.
His leadership, experience, and commitment to public service are expected to further strengthen the work of the SIUT Trust and support its long term vision of expanding access to high quality healthcare for all.
Welcoming Mr. Allana to the Board, the SIUT Trust expressed confidence that his guidance and insight will contribute meaningfully to the institution’s continued growth and its mission of providing free, state of the art healthcare, education, and research without discrimination and regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.
