Peshawar: An important event organized by the Palestine Foundation was held at Kashghar Restaurant in Peshawar, attended by prominent citizens, senior journalists, columnists, and social leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam delivered a detailed speech highlighting the current situation in Palestine and informed participants about the ground realities. He emphasized the responsibilities of the international community and stressed the need for practical solidarity with the Palestinian people.
A question-and-answer session with senior journalists and columnists was also held, where various key issues were discussed in detail.
The event was attended by Chairman of Pakistan Culture Tourism Organization Javed Aziz Khalji, General Secretary Umar Hayat, Joint Secretary Naumanuddin Advocate, Mushtaq Ahmad Shabab, Shamim Shahid, Saif-ul-Islam Saifi, Nasir Hussain, Sajjad Hussain, Amjad Hadi Yousafzai, and other notable personalities, further adding to the significance of the gathering.
On this occasion, Chairman PCTO Javed Aziz Khalji expressed his goodwill for Palestine, stating that practical steps and effective awareness are essential to show solidarity with the Palestinian people. He added that such events play a vital role in raising public awareness.
The atmosphere of the event remained serious, dignified, and impactful, where, alongside the Palestine issue, other important national and international matters were also discussed.
