Bajaur : Renowned social worker Malik Zia Salarzai was shot dead by unidentified armed men in the Kohi area of Tehsil Salarzai, Bajaur.
According to police, unidentified attackers targeted Malik Zia Salarzai, who died on the spot as a result of the firing. The incident spread fear and panic throughout the area.
DSP Jamal Shah confirmed the incident and stated that police have collected evidence from the crime scene, while a search operation has been launched for the arrest of the attackers.
It is worth mentioning that a few years ago, Malik Zia Salarzai’s father, Malik Fachi, was also shot dead by unidentified assailants. Police said that investigations are underway from different angles.
