SHANGHAI: World-class innovations in smart healthcare were showcased at the China International Medical Equipment Fair, which concluded in Shanghai on Sunday. The event brought together nearly 5,000 brands from around 30 countries and regions, making it one of the largest editions of the fair to date.
Leading international and domestic companies presented advanced technologies in areas such as AI-driven healthcare, surgical robots, brain-machine interfaces, and next-generation medical imaging. The exhibition highlighted how rapidly China is emerging as a global hub for healthcare innovation.
Major companies including Siemens Healthineers and Royal Philips unveiled cutting-edge products, while Chinese firms such as Nanovision Technology Group and NovaSerenia introduced breakthrough innovations in CT imaging and mobility solutions.
Experts said the fair reflects strong momentum in the global medical technology sector, with increasing focus on AI integration, precision diagnostics, and smart eldercare solutions.
